Shannon Okey

Shannon Okey, aka Knitgrrl, has written or co-authored over ten knitting- and crafts-related books and contributed to many more. She is the founder of Stitch Cooperative and also runs her own publishing venture called anezka media. She is also a columnist for knit.1 magazine, a co-owner of Stitch Cleveland, a shop in Lakewood, Ohio, and one of the six “New Guard of Knitting,” as seen in Vogue Knitting’s 25th anniversary issue in 2007.
